KNOXVILLE—The Vols added two members to their 2014 recruiting class over the weekend and kept that train rolling today with the commitment of 3-star legacy wide receiver Neiko Creamer. His father, Andre, played defensive back for the Vols in 80s, and UT was viewed as the leader to sign Creamer once Butch Jones took the helm of the Tennessee program. He holds offers from Rutgers, Temple, Syracuse, West Virginia, and Boston College, but made his commitment official this afternoon on Twitter.

Rated as a 3-star receiver by Scout and 247Sports, Creamer has excellent size (6-4, 220 pounds) and could play either tight end or receiver for the Vols next year. Jones prefers big, physical receivers on the outside that excel at run blocking, and Creamer certainly has the frame to toss opposing defensive backs aside with regularity. Whether at the tight end or receiver position, Creamer’s size alone could result in him seeing the field early for the Vols next season. You can view video highlights of Creamer here.

Tennessee is building serious momentum in this class, which now has four commitments. We’ve added Creamer to our 2014 Vol Commitments page. Check it out for info on Todd Kelly Jr., Coleman Thomas, and Vic Wharton.
