VolFeed: Orange and White Edition, Part 1
Screw Augusta. A truly glorious tradition, the Orange and White game, followed Fan Day today on Rocky Top.This trumps a few affluent individuals competing for an ugly jacket quite easily. Vol Nation had the opportunity to meet the coaches, players and fellow fans that they’ll cheering for this fall. This makes it a great deal more unlikely that those that attend will be anonymously bitching about the players and coaches and their fellow fans on the internet. It’s harder to eat a lobster that you’ve named. For that reason alone this is a wonderful tradition. This time of the year is also special because it’s an opportunity to gain new anxiety over how the team will perform in the fall. All without having the full recruiting class on campus or enough practices to properly judge things. I’m just saying enjoy this day and don’t be crazy. But I digress.
All of the above nonsense, and more, is reflected in the posts to come. Also, shout out to the University of Tennessee Social Media Team. They are, without question, the best in the business. I say that as a consumer with no direct interaction. They are just awesome.
Onward.
This is the pregame & first half of the Orange and White game and what Twitter had to say about it.
These fellas would be a focus

I’ve watched enough wrestling to know a trophy this big will get smashed by the sore loser.
